All STRIDE workshops for faculty based in College Station are delivered in person and incorporate active learning techniques, including small group discussions.
Faculty who are based in other locations have the following options:
(a) Attend an in-person workshop. In-person workshops are occasionally offered in Galveston, Doha, and Dallas-Fort Worth (College of Dentistry & School of Law). Interested faculty should check the schedule to see if any workshops are scheduled. Administrators in these locations may contact email@example.com to see if it is possible to set up a workshop.
(b) Participate in a Zoom-based workshops. Zoom-only workshops are occasionally offered for faculty based at off-campus location. All participants attend the workshop via Zoom, and are assigned to virtual chat rooms for the interactive components of the workshop. Interested faculty should check to see when the next Zoom-only workshop will be offered.
(c) Participate in a College Station workshop via TTVN or Zoom. This option is not available for all workshops in B/CS. The distant location must be supported by TTVN or Zoom, and ideally there should be a minimum of 4 participants at the same distance location. (Note: The workshop experience is not the same via TTVN.)
